Shared Ownership

Whole of Market Mortgage Advice

Shared ownership allows individuals to buy a portion of a property, usually between 25% and 75%, while paying rent on the remaining share. This model makes homeownership more accessible, as it reduces the upfront costs.
This type of scheme is where you part buy and part rent a property. These schemes are generally available through housing associations. Sometimes no deposit is needed for this kind of scheme.

It is typically available to all age groups over 18 and you have the option at a later stage to purchase further shares.
